Erin Walton, BS, MSW, LCSW-C
Erin Walton, BS, MSW, LCSW-C, a licensed mental health professional specializing in youth with emotional and behavioral disorders and history of trauma. Ms. Walton graduated from the University of Maryland with degrees in Psychology and Family Studies and went on to graduate from the University of Maryland School of Social Work with a dual concentration in Clinical Mental Health and Management and Community Organization. She has worked in treatment foster care with Mentor Maryland and as the Medical Social Worker for 10 of Johns Hopkins Community Physicians’ Outpatient Clinics before becoming a Social Work Supervisor at the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center. Ms. Walton has held positions in the Executive Leadership for the Maryland Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers, served as the committee chair of the Children, Youth, and Families committee for 6 years, was an active member of their legislative efforts, and has traveled the country to present at conferences and workshops for other social workers. Currently, Ms. Walton practices at Lighthouse one evening per week.
